Hey baby! Show us your high desert style. Are you funny? Mysterious? Flirty? We want to see your picture in the 2009 High Desert Baby Contest. The top 12 winners will be featured in the Press-Dispatch on Mother's Day 2009 and will be on the 2010 twelve-month poster calendar, on sale in June of 2009. The cost to enter is $5.00 and votes will be $1.00 each.

Winners will be in the Press Dispatch on Mother's Day 2009!

All proceeds go directly to high desert schools that participate in the Newspapers In Education (NIE) program, part of a nationwide literacy program that offers newspapers and learning materials to local teachers, free of charge.

Entries are being accepted March 30th 2009 through April 10, 2009, at 5pm. The entry period for the baby contest is over. Go and vote!

Votes can be submitted online, mailed in or walked in from April 15, 2009 through May 6, 2009 at 5pm and are $1.00 each, vote as many times as you like! Don't forget to tell your family and friends to vote!

WIN!

The baby photo with the most votes at 5pm on May 6, 2009 will be declared the winner and will be prominently featured in the 2010 twelve-month NIE Poster Calendar and in the Press-Dispatch on Mother's Day 2009.

RULES

Babies must be born on or after April 1, 2008.

The Press-Dispatch reserves the right to require proof of age.

Photos will be online and in print, high resolution photos are necessary. No polaroids, camera phone pictures, or professional photos please.

By entering this contest, you give Freedom Communications perpetual exclusive rights to publish or derive revenue from your submission. Photos submitted in hard copy may be picked up after May 23, 2009.
