Hey baby! Show us your high desert smile. Are you funny? Serious? Flirty? We want to see your picture in the High Desert Online Baby Contest. The top sixteen winners will be featured in the Press-Dispatch and will be on the 2008-2009 16 month poster calendar, on sale in May of 2008. The cost to enter is $5.00 and votes will be $1.00 each.

All proceeds benefit the Newspapers In Education (NIE) program, part of a nationwide literacy program that offers newspapers and learning materials to teachers, free of charge.

Votes will be submitted online from April 28, 2008 through May 9,2008 at 5pm and are $1.00 each, vote as many times as you like! Don't forget to tell your family and friends to vote!

WIN!

The baby photo with the most votes at 5pm on May 9, 2008 will be declared the winner and will be prominently featured in the 2008-2009 NIE Calendar and in the Press-Dispatch. The 16 photos with the most votes will also be in 2008-2009 16 month poster-calendar.

• Babies must be born on or after April 1, 2007
• The Press-Dispatch reserves the right to require proof of age.
• Photos will be online and in print, high resolution photos are necessary.
• By entering this contest, you give Freedom Communications perpetual exclusive rights to publish or derive revenue from your submission.

If you do not wish to donate to NIE, please mail an original ad clipped from the newspaper to NIE, P.O. Box 1389, Victorville CA, 92393, then email your digital photo to jfreeman@vvdailypress.com. Be sure to include the following information in the body of the email: Baby's name, baby's birthdate, parent's name, complete address, and daytime phone number. E-mails without complete information will not be entered into the High Desert Online Baby Contest.
